Shimi Bandiel is a senior consultant, trainer and architect with over 10 years of experience. He started working with Java in 1999 on the implementation of a rule-based engine (RETE based) at ISE. After more than 6 years, he moved to InterBit, a training and consulting company, where he became a senior consultant and trainer. His last position there was as CTO.

Shimi developed & personally delivered many advanced courses in Java, JavaEE, Web Services and Software Architecture. In addition, he provides software architecture and implementation consulting on a variety of topics, including technology adaptation, work flow engines, persistence, messaging, web tier, reporting, etc. Shimi has been a guest speaker at various technology focused events, such as Sun’s Java Technology Day and Oracle Technology Day. Shimi has a B.Sc. in computer sciences from the Israel Institute of Technology at the Technion.
